The East Transept Window

This is the Blaydes' Memorial Window: In 1925 this beautiful stained glass window was unveiled by Rev. H Graham Payn, an old friend of the family. The window illustrates the presentation of Jesus in the Temple. In the center is Mary with the Child. The right panel depicts Simeon and above are the words,

"Lord now lettest thy servant depart in peace"

Hannah, the prophetess, is shown in the left panel with the words,

"Mine eyes have seen thy Salvation"
