This chapel opened in 1882 and has a small room, kitchen and refurbished toilet to the rear.  The building is in good condition, recently double-glazed, and has gas central heating.  This is the only place of worship in the village of Ealand itself at present.

The morning service starts at 10.30 a.m. All age worship takes place at Christmas and on Palm Sunday, led by children from the village who rehearse on preceding Saturdays.

A monthly fellowship meets on Wednesday afternoons.

The village of about 500 people support events at the chapel and the surrounding grounds are put to good use.

There is a large caravan park nearby, on the banks of a group of lakes (formerly a brickworks).  There are also a train station, a canal, a number of small factory units, a public house, and a community hall (the 'Victory Hall') in the village.
